Electrostatic filtration cleans the air by using static electricity, a safe, naturally occurring phenomenon. Airborne particles are attracted and held by the static charge, until released by washing. This unique characteristic improved air flow while providing maximum filtration. The latest technology in filtration, this filter never needs replacement. An investment in an Electrostatic filter is an investment in better quality indoor air, and this premium quality filter will keep their system clean and free of irritants for years to come. Electrostatic Air Filters not only provide maximum filtration but improve air flow. This high performance lifetime Furnace Filter replaces a standard low efficiency 'throw away' filter with no modification to the system.

Simply remove your present inefficient disposable filter and replace it with a permanent Electrostatic Air Filter. No special electrical hookup or system modification is required. It's just that simple! It goes to work for you immediately and will give you years of trouble free service.
When cleaned as directed, your Air-Care filter will give you many years of trouble free use. Failure to properly clean the filter may lessen filter effectiveness, and as with any air filter, it is possible for an excessive dirt buildup to cause air flow resistance sufficient to damage other ventilation components. To clean simply remove the air filter and flush with water in opposite direction of air flow arrows. Rinse thoroughly to remove remaining dirt, drain excess water and reinstall.
Our sun is a natural atmospheric germ controller, but it is prevented from performing this function indoors. The addition of a UV Light Air Cleanser to your HVAC ventilation system brings this natural germ controller into your home.
UV light has been successfully used to sanitize the air in medical settings and food processing
plants for over 60 years. It is clinically tested and approved. And, because it literally sterilizes microorganisms, UV light greatly reduces or eliminates the presence of mold, viruses, bacteria, fungi and spores from the indoor air you breathe.
Once the air cleanser is installed, we, ACA need only to replace the germicidal UV bulb once a year. This can be handled easily during your annual HVAC servicing/cleaning.
Air conditioning systems not only cool but they also remove humidity from the air. This humidity condenses in the cooling coil and then goes out the drain line to the outside of the building. HVAC drain pans act as an amplification site for microbial growth and dirt. Microbial growth proliferates while the drain pan accumulates dirt and other incoming debris. Left unchecked, buildup continues and drain lines are plugged with this biological soup. Overflows spill out from your furnace or air handler and can cause significant water damage to the system’s controls and to the structure of the home, such as ceilings, drywall, rugs, etc. More importantly, the water contains fungal and other microbial matter, and contaminates areas of contact.
Overflows present an ongoing problem for all drain pan systems. High humidity conditions, failure to clean the drain pan frequently, and a high percentage of outside air introduction contribute to problems.
Stagnant water in drainpans contributes to microbial growth. Stagnant water occurs where drain pans have hills and valleys in the pan so that the pan may not drain properly. Improperly installed pans, where one end is lower than the end with the drain, capture water and allow it to not flow out properly.
To kill and control algae, mildew and mold in your condensate drain line you can place "Algae Strips" in the condensate pan. EPA approved algae strips control the growth and odor of mold, algae, mildew and fungus for up to six months. For larger units more than one strip may be used.
